Angel Favazza (born 1975) works as an English 10 Honors and Creative Writing teacher at Adlai E. Stevenson High School in Sterling Heights, Michigan. She is married with a daughter. She is happily owned by several Persian cats, a few frogs, a couple crested geckos and two rescued chinchillas.
Favazza has written for over twenty years and her work has appeared most recently in literary magazines such as Illogical Muse, Aoife's Kiss, Necrography, Star*Line, Scifaikuest, Cat Fancy, Ceremony: A Journal of Poetry and Other Arts, Down in the Dirt, Poet's Haven, Write On: Poetry from Around the World, Dark Gothic Resurrected, and Soul Fountain: Art & Literary Journal, among many others.
Favazza's first poetry collection, An Avid Eye is available from Pudding House Press (2009). Her second poetry collection, A Rinsing Rain is also available from Pudding House Press (2009). Her sci-fi poetry book, On Metallic Wings is available from Sam’s Dot Publishing (2010). Her sci-fi poetry book, Inner Space is available from Silent Grove Press (2010). Her debut, Young Adult (YA) novel, Saving Death will be available from Sam's Dot Publishing (2012).
Favazza’s work has been widely reprinted and internationally anthologized. Her writing reflects an interest in science fiction, modern philosophy, environmental issues, and popular culture.
